What a busy week. So far, I have been in Dallas, Kansas City, Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis, back to Dallas. This weekend I will have a day trip to Houston. Not a great time for travel, but have to do what you have to do. And in all that travel, my bag did not make it at first to Minneapolis. For anyone, that can be frustrating, especially after a full day of travel. For me, I had a big presentation the next day! Instead of getting overwhelmed, I rushed into Target and grabbed what I could to at least feel comfortable that evening. The next morning they were able to find my bag. I used that as a training ground for my pageant. They say the number one fear people have is Public Speaking. The thought of doing it in my underwear certainly did not help. Through all the stress and nervousness, I was able to apply principles I had learned about speaking and get the job done. I have two more speeches to give this month and again, will look at it as an opportunity to train for Miss Texas USA.
I only have a few weeks left and I am in GO, Hurry, Panic mode almost! But in all this chaos, this is what I choose to think about:
